Nellie’s detergent got my dishes super clean. I didn\u2019t notice any residue left behind, either. Just sparkly-clean dishes!<\/span><\/p>\n

Blueland comes in at #3! These tablets are made without harsh chemicals, but only have a \u201cfragrance-free\u201d option.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Blueland\u2019s didn’t clean as well and I had leftover food and streaks on my glasses after using them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, the packaging is plastic-free, which is great for the environment, but we do see that reflected in the price. Because of the higher price-point & not cleaning as well, Blueland lands at my #3 spot.<\/span><\/p>\n

After hearing about Seventh Generation\u2019s popularity among the \u201cclean living\u201d crowd, I was excited to try it. I am, however, ranking it at #4.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It definitely cleaned my dishes and didn\u2019t leave any residue, but I just can\u2019t get past the liquid format. Liquid detergent is just too messy\u2013it gets everywhere, is way too sticky, and you never know if you\u2019re pouring too much or too little.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The positive is that there are no harmful chemicals and the ingredients are plant based! <\/span>
\n<\/span>I just personally don\u2019t like to deal with a heavy plastic jug of diluted liquid.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Some people do swear by it, though.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Dirty Labs<\/a>

The ingredients are natural and work great! I honestly don\u2019t have anything bad to say about Dirty Labs\u2019 cleaning power.<\/span><\/p>\n

The biggest negative for me was just the powder format. Unlike the tablets, this detergent comes in loose powder that definitely gets everywhere and is hard to measure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although powder is definitely a step above liquid, the high price is what brought Dirty Labs to #5.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Being the most expensive for less detergent, I couldn\u2019t justify the price when there were better options.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
